- Bookings only take effect when the first deposit, being 30% of the invoice amount, has been transferred to the bank account of Zomerhuisje Wijk aan Zee.
- The rental price includes the consumption of gas, water and electricity.
- The remainder of the rent must be paid no later than four weeks before moving into the summer cottage.
- The lessor has the right to claim full compensation if damage has been caused to the rented property or loss or damage to household and / or other goods has been established due to negligence on the part of the tenant or his fellow residents.
- The tenant is not allowed to sublet the house or to have more people accommodated than agreed. In the event of a violation, the lessor has the right, without notice of default or intervention of the court, to terminate this agreement immediately, without obligation to return the rent received or part thereof. This provision also applies if the tenant does not meet his financial obligations in time. The landlord is then entitled to rent out the summer cottage to third parties. It is not allowed to (sub)rent out or use the summer cottage in whole or in part to others. Changing residents in the meantime is therefore not permitted.
- Pets are not allowed.
- If the tenant cancels the agreement, he will have to pay compensation to the landlord, amounting to: – 0% of the rent in case of cancellation up to one month before the commencement date; – 30% of the rent in case of cancellation up to one week before the commencement date; – 100% of the rental price in case of cancellation within one week before the start date or in case of no-show; You can cancel by e-mail. The cancellation date is the date of the email.
- The lessor is not liable for damage and / or claims of third parties due to (unlawful) use of the data infrastructure of the summer cottage (such as Wi-Fi, network connection, computer equipment, etc.) during the rental period.
